Battery mould

WECKENMANN - Battery moulds have proven their qualities and efficient design throughout the past years. Now they have been completely optimised and revised. They are well suited for the production of wall elements and other large-scale concrete elements e.g. balcony slabs, which require extremely smooth surfaces on both sides.

The following advantages speak for themselves:

  • Robust, above-average construction with minimal tolerances in the mould surface.
  • Ground based operation method, allowing easy access to the open panels and easy de-shuttering, even with reduced crane hook heights.
  • Vibration-optimised construction and use of special vibrators in order to attain an optimal compaction and the best possible surface quality, all with reduced noise and less wear and tear.
  • The optionally installed heater can be run with hot water or thermo oil. The temperature differences on the formwork surface are such that they can be neglected.
  • The ground and vertical formwork can be made of steel, with sealed edges, or can be developed as an undercarriage construction for on-site timber shuttering.
  • Hydraulic retention with pump regulation for total leak-tightness.

A wide variety of accessories is available:

  • Vibration control for infinitely variable vibrator rotation speed and pre-selection programmes.
  • Electric carriages for mobile end form.
  • Walkways and access ladders.
  • Concrete spreader for the efficient filling of the various mould compartments.
  • Single or tandem batteries.
  • Window and door block outs.
  • Heat exchanger for the changing of the heating medium to steam / hot water, or thermo-oil.
  • Heating control with temperature monitoring and heating programme regulation (temperature / time).
